Sentai Filmworks is bringing out the anime series Seven Heavenly Virtues as a complete Blu-ray set on October 16th, 2018 – which isn’t a long wait considering it was a January 2018 premiere. The show is on Blu-ray only and is getting a dub since it’s just a short-form series with a 50-minute running time overall. Priced at $29.98, we got the cast list late last week and now a new trailer for it has arrived. It’s not one that shows of all the characters as it’s narrated by just one of them but for those that don’t follow simulcasts closely it’s a good look at the short-form series.

The English cast includes:

  • Kucky Long as Michael
  • Kira Vincent-Davis as Uriel
  • Courtney Lamelo as Raphael
  • Rachael Messer as Sandalphon
  • Brittney Karbowski as Metatron
  • Maggie Flecknoe as Gabriel
  • Avery Smithhart as Sariel

The series was directed by Shinji Ishihara with Masanori Iizuka handling the character designs based on the original work by Niθ. Studio Bridge handled animating the project.

The Japanese cast includes Yumi Uchiyama as Michael (Faith),  Asami Seto as Uriel (Patience),  Sakura Nakamura as Sariel (Kindness),  Shiori Izawa as Sandalphon (Diligence),  Ari Ozawa as Metatron (Charity),  Lynn as Raphael (Temperance), and  Hiyori Nitta as Gabriel (Chastity).

Plot Concept: The “Seven Mortal Sins,” demons from hell, have pressed forward and have started to spread their plague. Heaven is in chaos, and the angels of the “Seven Heavenly Virtues” are sent to Earth to search for a candidate to become the “true messiah.”
