NBC Universal Japan Schedules ‘Phantom in the Twilight’ Anime Blu-ray Releases

The summer 2018 anime series Phantom in the Twilight is getting its home video releases handled by NBC Universal Japan and they’ve set a shorter schedule for it. The twelve episode series is getting a four-volume release that begins on November 11th, 2018. It’s being done as a Blu-ray release only and will be priced at 6,800 yen per volume.

The series was directed by Kunihiro Mori based on the series composition by Fumiaki Maruto and Shunsaku Yano. LIDEN FILMS handled the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes Kana Hanazawa as Bayrou Ton, Takahiro Sakurai as Vlad Garfunkel, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Luke Bowen, Tomokazu Sugita as Tōryū, and Daiki Yamashita as Wayne King.

Plot Concept: The story takes place in London, at “Café Forbidden,” a mysterious café that only opens at night. The protagonist is a girl who is in London to study abroad. She meets the handsome men who work this place where the guardians of the boundary between the human and shadow world gather.
