The first release week of manga for August is getting us through the dog days of summer and there’s definitely fun to be had here. For those willing to dive in there’s some Shortcake Cake manga and the completely contrasting Black Torch manga getting underway today. Viz Media also has new installments of One Piece and Platinum End while Kodansha Comics loads up more Tokyo Tarareba Girls and Fairy Tail. Seven Seas delivers well with Devilman Vs Hades Manga getting another installment and the summer anime series Yuuna And The Haunted Hot Springs getting another of its original manga releases out, the latter of which is under the Ghost Ship imprint.
On the novel side, we get an Attack on Titan novel as well as Toradora and some Arifureta among others.
