The summer series Muhyo & Roji’s Bureau of Supernatural Investigation is a curious one as it was getting a late start as part of the summer season where we weren’t sure of just how exclusive it would be. The show went live in Japan today on SKY PErfect TV and has an Animax premiere on September 3rd, 2018. Which would it be in regards to potential overseas streaming? Well, we learned the answer to that earlier today as Crunchyroll has picked up the series for streaming with the first episode having gone live. New episodes will come out every Friday at 11:30 am ET for their members with availability set to worldwide outside of Asia.
Nobuhiro Kondo is directing it based on the series composition and scripts by Yasuyuki Suzuki. Kouichiro Kawano is handling the character designs with Studio DEEN producing the animation for it.
The previously announced Japanese cast includes Ayumu Murase as Tōru Muhyō, Yuu Hayashi as Jirō “Roji” Kusano, Tetsuya Kakihara as Yōichi Himukai, Hiroshi Kamiya as Soratsugu Madoka, Mitsuki Saiga as Reiko Imai, Wataru Hatano as Page Klaus, Rie Kawamura as Yū Abiko (Biko), Satomi Akesaka as Rio Kurotori, Iori Nomizu as Nana Takenouchi, Tetsuharu Ohta as Tiki, Kōhei Amasaki as Kenji, Yōji Ueda as Maeda, Ami Koshimizu as Furuya, Kazumasa Fukagawa as Iwamoto, and Kyousuke Ikeda as Fujiwara.
