New ‘Sora to Umi no Aida’ Anime Visual Arrives

The multimedia project Sora to Umi no Aida, which translates as Between The Sky and The Sea, revealed back in July 2017 that it’ll have an anime adaptation as part of its sprawling plan that includes a smartphone game, manga, stage plays, and a radio program. With production details revealed back in March we now have a new key visual below and the reveal that the three leading actresses will perform the opening theme song while Konomi Suzuki will be performing the ending theme song. TMS Entertainment is on board for the animation production with Oji Hiroi serving as the general director with Atsushi Nigorikawa as the series director and series composition by Takashi Yamada. Shuuhei Yamamoto is handling the character designs for it.

The Japanese cast includes:

  • Karin Takahashi as Haru Soramachi
  • Rika Tachibana as Namino Murakami
  • Honoka Inoue as Ruby Azumi
  • Ai Kousaka as Makoto Mitsurugi
  • Momoko Suzuki as Maiko Sakura
  • Maori Komeno as Makiko Maki

Plot Concept: The show is set in Onomichi-city, Hiroshima Prefecture, featuring six girls whose dreams are becoming Space Fisher. In the game, the player plays the part of the chief of the girls division at the Space Fisher Development Center and supports the girls to capture the space fishes.
