Second ‘Castlevania’ Season Gets New Promo & Premiere Date

2 min read

The second season of Castlevania was set to land on Netflix this summer and we got the word in June that a third season was given the green light. Things didn’t go quite as planned to some degree though as the second season has now been scheduled for an October 26th, 2018 debut on the service. On the plus side, a new trailer for it has landed that will definitely delight fans.

The English cast for the second season includes Graham McTavish as Dracula, Richard Armitage as Trevor Belmont, James Callis as Alucard, Alejandra Reynoso as Sypha Belnades, Emily Swallow as Lisa Tepes, and Tony Amendola as The Elder.

The Japanese cast includes Ryotaro Okiayu, Shinichiro Miki, Naoya Uchida, and Ayaka Shimoyamada.

The animated series is from Frederator Studios, a Wow! Unlimited Media company, written by best-selling author and comic book icon Warren Ellis and executive produced by Warren Ellis, Kevin Kolde, Fred Seibert and Adi Shankar.

Plot Concept: Inspired by the classic video game series, Castlevania is a dark medieval fantasy following the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepe himself.
