‘Clockwork Planet’ Manga Ending

1 min read

With an ongoing novel from Yuu Kamiya, the manga adaptation of it that came along is set to end. The light novel series kicked off back in 2013 but hasn’t published past the fourth volume in 2015. The manga was produced by Kuro and began in 2013 in Monthly Shonen Sirius and has been plugging away since then with Kodansha Comics releasing it in North America while Seven Seas is handling the print novels for J-Novel Club. The manga looks to be catching up to novels so it makes sense that it would be drawing to an end with next months installment.

It’ll wrap up with a tenth volume later this year.

Plot Concept: Naoto’s a high school dropout and brilliant amateur tinkerer. He lives in a world that has been so over-exploited that the entire surface has become one vast machine. When a box crashes into his home containing a female automaton, it’s a harbinger of change that will rock the entire globe, and give Naoto his chance to be a hero.
