Sentai Filmworks Acquires ‘Hello Kitty & Friends – Let’s Learn Together’ Anime Under New Imprint

1 min read

If you’ve suddenly got flashbacks to ADV Kidz, you’re not alone. Sentai Filmworks has revealed that they’ve got a new imprint with Sentai Kids that will focus on material aimed at kids. This isn’t a bad thing in general as there are properties that can get some really good distribution, cheap to license, and can add some good coin on the backend. We’ve seen distributors work this market before while the licenses are available. Sentai Kids is getting this underway with a title that always gets attention with Hello Kitty & Friends – Let’s Learn Together. The release will feature 21 all-new episodes where “Hello Kitty, her sister Mimi and all new friends help children and families learn about the world around them, from experimenting with shapes and learning to take care of flowers, to studying dance and practicing good manners, it’s all educational and exciting with a hearty dose of cute.”

As its inaugural release, Sentai Kids will make “Hello Kitty & Friends – Let’s Learn Together” available on home video and through select digital outlets in the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
