The spring 2018 anime series Lostorage conflated WIXOSS is getting its home video releases handled by Warner Bros. Japan and they’ve set their plans for it. The new season is getting a three-volume release on DVD and Blu-ray where they’re priced at 12,800 yen each and have four episodes per volume. We only had the first set solicited previously but now the second and third sets are scheduled as well.
The staff for this series has Risako Yoshida directed it with Michihiro Tsuchiya handling the scripts. Takamitsu Satou worked on the character designs and it was animated at JC Staff.
The Japanese cast includes Chinami Hashimoto as Suzuko Homura, Yuka Iguchi as Chinatsu Morikawa, Shizuka Itou as Lil, Hisako Kanemoto as Mel, Shiori Izawa as Nanashi, Yurika Kubo as Honna Mikage, Kazuyuki Okitsu as Shō Narumi, Shinsuke Sugawara as Shōhei Shirai, Yuri Yamaoka as Aaya, Aya Suzaki as Dōna, Saori Goto as Guzuko, Junji Majima as Sō Sumida, Natsumi Hioka as Rio Oshiba, Asuka Nishi as Kagari Yukino, Hitomi Nabatame as Yukime and Yūichi Nakamura as Satomikō.
Plot Concept: The peaceful days turn out to be short-lived as the shadow of another Selector Battle looms large. Mizushima Kiyoi is the first to notice that things are amiss, and she makes her move to put an end to the cycle of darkness. The Battle this time includes a new card, “Key,” and has been set up with rules different than before. With both the mastermind and their motive shrouded in mystery, the darkness grows ever deeper and more menacing. Homura Suzuko, Morishita Chinatsu, Mikage Hanna, Kominato Ruuko, Kurebayashi Yuzuki, Uemura Hitoe, and Aoi Akira… The Selectors gather once again. Hopes, memories, and the key… The final battle with everything on the line begins now!
