We learned earlier this year that the Grimms Notes game Square Enix will be getting an anime adaptation of some sort. With a manga got underway last year and two novel adaptations as well, we didn’t get anything in regards to how the anime was being produced. Now, the official game site has revealed that the project is a TV series that will be on TBS when it does come together – and that it won’t be a 5-minute short series.
While we don’t have any production information we did get four cast confirmations with:
- Ryota Ohsaka as Ekusu
- Reina Ueda as Reina
- Miyu Kubota as Shane
- Takuya Eguchi as Tao

Plot Concept: The game revolves around the adventure of players with a given book that tells their fate in the world created by “Storytellers” and these people must fight against “Chaos Tellers” who overwrite their books with bad events.
