‘Koi no Tsuki’ Manga Getting Live-Action Series

1 min read

The Koi no Tsuki manga series from Akira Nitta has been announced as having a live-action series in development and production that will debut on TV Tokyo on July 26th, 2018. The series will air weekly and then get Netflix distribution once that run has finished for it.

The manga kicked off in Morning Two magazine back in 2015 and has five volumes out. Hopefully, with it getting the Netflix nod, Kodansha Comics will bring it out digitally.

Plot Concept: The story deals with Wako Taira, a 31-year-old woman who lives with her boyfriend Fū-kun, but is sexually frustrated and dissatisfied with her life. She meets a 16-year-old high school boy named Iko at the cinema and becomes more and more interested in him, which begins to confuse her.
