Crunchyroll Streams Four ‘March comes in like a lion’ Anime Ending Sequences

2 min read

Crunchyroll has done some updating that’s definitely a good way to ease into a late night, especially if you’re getting ready to call it a day. They’ve added the first four ending sequences to the anime series Marches comes in like a lion for streaming. Ending sequences typically are a bit more mellow and relaxed and being able to move smoothly through these four works well for getting into that very mellow-mellow mode. Check ’em out below!

Check out our review of the first Blu-ray set and our review of the second Blu-ray set.

The series has Akiyuki Shinbou directing it at Shaft with Nobuhiro Sugiyama as the character designer, Yasuhiro Nakura working on the art setting with Seiki Tamura as art director while Toshiki Kameyama worked on sound direction. Yukari Hashimoto is handling the music for the series.

The Japanese cast includes Nobuhiko Okamoto as Harunobu Nikaido, Kengo Kawanishi as Rei Kiriyama, Ai Kayano as Akari Kawamoto, Kana Hanazawa as Hinata Kawamoto and Misaki Kuno as Momo Kawamoto.

The opening theme song will be performed by BUMP OF CHICKEN and they’ll also be providing the ending theme song with the “Fighter” piece that they collaborated with on previously.

Plot Concept: The protagonist is Rei, a 17-year-old shogi player. He lives by himself, does not have a family, does not go to school, and has scarcely any friends. Among his acquaintances is a family, which consists of a young woman, Akari, and two young girls, Momo and Hinata, and who also keep a numerous number of cats.
