“Chi Plays With Yohei”

Chi is a sweet playful kitten, always full of energy. She gets milk from Yohei, and is relaxing at home, nice and full. As she searches around the house for something exciting, she comes across Yohei walking with a handful of rubber balls. The balls bounce everywhere as he drops them, and Yohei and Chi can’t get more excited. The day ends with Chi and the family making a great memory together.

Having recovered from a pretty bad self-inflicted illness, Chi’s now back to normal and just getting on with her life as you’d expect with stretches, food, and sleep. This episode focuses on Chi and Yohei having a lot of fun together which mean smooch smashing of toys and general silliness for a lot of it, though even Yioheiu has his limits with Chi and snaps at her a bit in order to get his room cleaned up for mom. The real fight begins w2hen mom puts out a treat for Yohei but Chi wants her due desserts and makes a cutely big push over it. Yohei gets a lot of screentime in here and fits the role of a boy who’s e loring his emotions and who he wants to be at this point really well.
In Summary:
While a lot of attention in most shows focuses on the trials and tribulations of girls growing up there’s some good material to fin in seeing boys growing up as well and what they’re taught or not taught. Chi and Yohei together is generally a lot of fun and it doesn’t really disappoint here as we see them get along, have struggles, and then go their own corners before all is forgiven again in favor of a new treat. I think there are better Yohei/Chi storylines to be had for the character as this one feels very middle of the road at best.
