With the launch of an official site recently, the anime adaptation of the Aguu Tensai Ningyo series has updated again with some new information. The show has now been set for a July 9th, 2018 debut while also bringing some new cast additions into the mix. The series has Bob Shirohata directing it based on the series composition by Yuiko Kato. Masaaki Kanna is serving as the chief animation director and character designer for it.
The newly announced Japanese cast includes:
- Hiroki Yasumoto as Erbat
- Kikuko Inoue as Rijuntei
- MAO as Rihakumen
- Risa Mizuno as Ōinin
- Aya Uchida as Karurichi
The previously announced Japanese cast includes:
- Noriko Shibasaki as Ai
- Eriko Matsui as Machi
- Wataru Takagi as Rashō
- Satoshi Shibasaki as Rafu
With it being based on the Chinese comic from Yichun Jun, this marks the second collaboration with Tencent.
