First ‘Today’s Menu for Emiya Family’ Anime DVD/BD Release Artwork Arrives

The Fate/stay night spinoff manga series Today’s Menu for Emiya Family from TAa has its home video release plans set. Distributed by Aniplex Japan, it’s getting a four-volume release that begins on June 6th, 2018 and we’ve now got the cover artwork for it. Both formats are listed as limited editions and priced at 4,000 yen on DVD and 5,00 yen on Blu-ray. It’s directed by Takahiro Miura and Tetsuo Sato. Touko Uchimura is handling the character designs while Makoto Tadano is working as cuisine supervisor. ufotable is producing the animation for it. The original work from TAa has two volumes out so far.

The Japanese cast includes Noriaki Sugiyama as Shirou Emiya, Ayako Kawasumi as Saber, Kana Ueda as Rin Toosaka, Noriko Shitaya as Matou Sakura, Yuu Asakawa as Rider, Mai Kadowaki as Illyasviel von Einzbern, and Miki Itou as Taiga Fujimura.

The opening theme will be “Apron Boy” by DJ Misoshiru & MC Gohan while the ending theme will be “Collage” by Sangatsu no Phantasia.

Plot Concept: “Fulfilling meal…a familiar view” In this story, Fate and food meet in a delicious and gentle world. It’s nothing but an ordinary meal scene… Delicious meals are served at the Emiya’s dinner table every day, through spring, summer, fall and winter. — Let’s see… what’s for dinner today?
