Aria Tsukino Reacts to ‘Kenka Bancho Otome: Love’s Battle Royale’ Manga

1 min read

Viz Media has been coming up with interesting live-action things to do when it comes to promoting their anime and manga releases, such as voice actors playing games amid the release of a popular property. The latest approach has them looking to promote Chie Shimada’s series Kenka Bancho Otome, which recently finished its anime adaptation, and has two complete volumes that will be worked with. What they did is work with Aria Tsukino, a YouTube personality, whose channel is focused on live action readings of manga viewing of anime series. Live reaction material may feel a little alien to some folks but it’s another part of fandom that’s drawing in people to things and creating bonds between them. Check it out (and the manga) below.

Plot Concept: Hinako thought she didn’t have any family, but on the day she starts high school, her twin brother Hikaru suddenly appears and tricks her into taking his place. But the new school Hinako attends in his stead is beyond unusual. Now she must fight her way to the top of Shishiku Academy, an all-boys school of delinquents!
