Pony Canyon is doing their promotion for the spring 2018 series Caligula and they’ve now got a tease of the next episode. Set for a May 6th, 2018 debut, check out the preview for the fifth episode below. New episodes will arrive every Sunday at 11:30 am ET on Crunchyroll for their membership with it open to viewers worldwide outside of Asia going forward.
The series was directed by Junichi Wada based on the series composition by Touka Machida. Kenji Tanabe worked on the character designs with Satelight handling the animation production.

Game Concept: A virtual idol known as μ performs user-inputted songs and gains self-awareness through exposure to users’ bitter feelings and dissatisfaction toward reality. Wanting to save humanity — which she believes is continuously suffering — she lures people to a virtual reality world called Mobius with her songs. She then imprisons them in Mobius, thinking they will be free from the suffering of reality and that all their wishes will come true.
