‘Big Hero 6 The Series’ Scheduled

With a brief promo put out there, June 9th, 2018 is the date for the premiere of Big Hero 6 The Series that will be coming to the Disney Channel. The debut will have two episodes while the day after will have a second block of two episodes. The project brings back a lot of the cast but it also makes some changes to how the movie ended in order to tell a more open-ended story for the series. A second season has already gotten the go ahead.

Plot Concept: The series follows the events of the feature film Big Hero 6 and continues the adventures of 14-year-old tech genius Hiro Hamada and the compassionate, cutting-edge robot Baymax created by his late brother Tadashi. Along with his friends Wasabi, Honey Lemon, Go Go and Fred, they form the superhero team Big Hero 6 and embark on high-tech adventures as they protect their city from an array of scientifically enhanced villains. Hiro also faces academic challenges and social trials as the new prodigy at San Fransokyo Institute of Technology (SFIT).
