The day-to-day life for the Messiah is proving to be exhausting but luckily the Angel of Kindness, Sariel has descended to offer support in the most stimulating way.

The focus on Gabriel the last time around was decent enough and this episode shifts focus onto Sariel, the very chest-heavy angel of kindness. The messiah candidate this time ends up coming across her when he comes home and she’s sitting there, all golden and glowing, and he can’t help but ti be drawn to her – especially after a rough day at work. She basically just lets him complain and embraces him in her bosom, which he definitely enjoys. Of course, she also tries other things to help him that do seem to work to some degree but are also frighteningly violent and would break most men. This says far more about our candidate than Sariel I think.
In Summary:
With most of the show playing cute and silly and highly sexual, it does twist at the end with something a bit more problematic with an evil eye detection alert going off that’s drawing in some of the other angels. It’s hard to tell if this is going to impact the next episode or if it’s just a minor gag point until we get to the end of the run but it is nice to see a connection. Sariel’s too far over the top for my tastes in how stuff like this is presented but it fits with the masochist level that this candidate is like and the kind of abuse she can give him that he’ll enjoy.
