The popularity of the Kaiji manga has worked out well for the spinoff series Middle Management Chronicle Tonegawa from Tensei Hagiwara, Tomohiro Hashimoto, and Tomoki Miyoshi as it’s getting the anime treatment. The adaptation has Madhouse slated to handle the animation production for it and has now revealed that it’ll be a part of the summer 2018 season. In addition to that, it was revealed that the lead character, Yukio Tonegawa, will be played by Toshiyuki Morikawa.

The property has three volumes out as of next month and is something that will definitely appeal to an underserved part of the overall anime market.

Plot Concept: The series focuses on the “agonizing daily life of Teiai Group executive Yukio Tonegawa, who gets into conflicts with Hyōdō and the black suits.”
