King Records has announced what the Japanese release plans are for the second season of Hozuki no Reitetsu and it’s definitely interesting. The show is getting two box set releases that brings out the series in full in quick fashion and we now have a look at the second set’s main cover artwork that’s definitely colorful. The show will have both the DVD and Blu-ray sets priced at 18,000 yen each when they land on January 17th, 2018 and March 14th, 2018.
The show is based on the manga of the same name by Natsumi Eguchi which has been running since 2011 in Morning 2 that has resulted in twenty-four volumes seeing compilation so far.
Crunchyroll simulcast the first season and Sentai Filmworks released it on home video.
Plot concept: Hozuki is the aide to the Great King Enma. Calm and super-sadistic, Hozuki tries to resolve the various problems in Hell, including a rampaging Momotaro and his companions. However, he also likes spending his free time on his hobbies, such as fawning over cute animals and raising ‘Goldfish Flowers.’
