With word that even after the terrible run that Justice League had and the shifting of other projects that the Green Lantern Corps movie is still on the docket, some new details have surfaced regarding it. Writer David S. Goyer dropped that tidbit recently and we previously had heard that Rupert Wyatt was being looked at to direct it. But now word is surfacing that the studio is trying to get Christopher McQuarrie to take a crack at it as he wraps up on Mission:Impossible – Fallout. A logline also dropped that gives an indication that we may be seeing an older Hal, which works well, bringing on a new younger member to take over for the sector.
Plot Concept: Former test pilot Hal Jordan, now a veteran of the intergalactic group of protectors of peace and justice known as the Green Lantern Corps, mentors young recruit John Stewart.
