The winter 2018 anime series Takunomi has its home video releases being handled by Pony Canyon and they’ve set an interesting schedule for it. The show is getting released as two Blu-ray sets with the twelve episodes split evenly priced at 9,800 yen. The DVD side of it is getting released as three sets with four volumes per set priced at 6,800 yen.
The series will be directed by Tomoki Kobayashi based on the scripts by Katsuhiko Takayama. Shinpei Kobayashi is handling the character designs with Production IMS handling the animation for it.
The Japanese cast includes Ayaka Imamura as Michiru Amatsuki, Chika Anzai as Nao Kiriyama, Mikako Komatsu as Kae Midorikawa, and Maaya Uchida Makoto Kiriyama.
The manga from Haruto Hino kicked off in 2015 and has four volumes out.
Plot Concept: Takunomi follows the story of Michiru Amatsuki, a 20-year-old woman who just moved to Tokyo to change jobs. She lives in apartment 101 of Stella House Haruno, an all-female boarding house. There, she meets other women of different ages, jobs, and personalities. They all have something in common though: their love for good food and drinks.
