The December 2017 reveal that an anime adaptation is slated to debut with the manga property Tachibanakan Triangle as Love to Lie Angle certainly delighted many fans. While we had gotten the cast for it previously, the official site has now updated to reveal that the series is set for the spring 2018 season in April, the first key visual, and the staffing for it. The series is being directed by Hisayoshi Hirasawa with WORDS in STEREO handling the scripts. Yutsuko Hanai is on board with the character designs while Creators in the Pack and Studio Lings are handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast for it includes:
- Minami Tsuda as Hanabi Natsuno
- Amisa Sakuragi as Konomi Fujiwara
- Arisa Nakada as Iori Takamura
- Rei Matsuzaki as Yoriko Fujiwara
- Mikako Komatsu as Yū Tsukishiro
- Eri Kitamura as Sonoa Mitsui
The manga is serialized in Comic Yuri Hime and began in 2014 with five volumes out as of this month. Digital Manga Publishing brought out the series this year as Love to Lie Angle.
Plot Concept: After moving back to her hometown, Natsuno Hanabi is ready to start high school and excited to be living in Tachibana Mansion, a luxurious mansion-style dormitory. However, due to some complications, she winds up at run-down but lively Tachibana House… and finds herself stuck between her childhood friend and a mysterious beauty.
