Anime Boston 2018 announces its fifth round of North American guests

Voice Actors Rachel Robinson and Christopher Bevins to appear at the Northeast’s largest anime convention

Boston – Anime Boston, the largest anime convention in New England, announced its fifth round of North American guests of honor today.  Voice Actors Rachel Robinson and Christopher Bevins will be appearing at Anime Boston at the Hynes Convention Center, Boston, Mass, on March 30 through April 1, 2018.

A born-and-raised Angeleno, Rachel Robinson has spanned the spectrum of video games, animation, national commercials, promos, and anime. In gameland, she’s best known for her role as Oerba Yun Fang in Final Fantasy XIII, XIII-2, and Lightning Returns. She is robot ADA in Fallout 4: Automatron, Protoss matriarch Vorazun in StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void, Goetia in Xenoblade Chronicles X, Nova in There Came an Echo, and Time Patroller in DBZ: Xenoverse.

Recent anime roles include: Cal Shekar in Taboo Tattoo, Chitose Oribe in Sakura Quest, Gundula Rall in Brave Witches, Mauve in ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept, Hiroko in Yuri on Ice!!, Anastasia in Drifters, Os Cara Stauffenberg in Project Itoh: Harmony, and Namazuo in Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru – her first recurring boy role. She is also Diamondback/Rachel Leighton in Marvel Disk Wars: Avengers, Farangis in The Heroic Legend of Arslan, and Sakura Ohgami in Danganronpa: The Animation. Her known villains include Zorin Blitz in Hellsing Ultimate, Empress Megaria in Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters, Cameran in Sailor Moon, Lidvia in A Certain Magical Index II, and many others.

Since 2001, Christopher Bevins has acted in, directed, cast, produced, and/or adapted scripts for over 200 anime projects. His anime acting credits include Japan in Hetalia, Nine in Terror in Resonance, Nino in ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept., Yogi in Karneval, Twenty Faces in Trickster, Sero in My Hero Academia, Nico in Tokyo Ghoul, Hiroshi in Michiko & Hatchin, Rasputin in Drifters, Narsus in The Heroic Legend of Arslan, Hanamori in Princess Jellyfish, Johnny Gill in D.Gray-Man, Joe in Prison School, Hagakure in the Danganronpa anime series, Apollo & Amata in the Aquarion series, Lafitte, ChouChou, & Lasso in One Piece, Lahar in Fairy Tail, Shishi Wakamaru in Yu Yu Hakusho, Bee the Puppy in Dragon Ball Z, and Beck the Dog in BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad. Chris has also worked on several video games, most notably as Dhalsim in Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter V, as well as various background characters in Borderlands 2.

Previously announced guests include FLOW, Asaka, Greg Ayres, Monica Rial, Hideyuki Tomioka, Katsuyuki Sumizawa, Hirokatsu Kihara, Michihiko Suwa, Kaoru Wada, Kaiji Tang, Josh Grelle, Amanda C. Miller, and Jez Roth.
