‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Reveals Super Bowl Teaser Spot

1 min read

While I have great faith in Ron Howard as the man has been close with the Star Wars world for a long time in various ways and I’m excited for the new pieces that will be revealed here, there’s obviously some trepidation with Solo. But, like other films that have a range of behind the scenes issues that cause much drama (Rogue OneAnt-Man come to mind among others), the end result is what really matters and it’s best to take a film on its actual release than anything else. With a full trailer set for release tomorrow, Lucasfilm dropped the first teaser in the Super Bowl tonight and my excitement is growing.

Directed by Chris Miller, Phil Lord, and Ron Howard, the film stars Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover, Emilia Clarke and Woody Harrelson with a planned May 25th, 2018 release.

Plot Concept: This new film depicts Han in his formative years as a scoundrel on the rise in the galaxy’s underworld — years before the events involving Han, Leia, and Darth Vader in The Empire Strikes Back and his rise to Rebel hero in Return of the Jedi.
