With a TV special out last September, we learned back in July 2017 that the Persona 5 the Animation: The Day Breakers property will be spawning a TV series in 2018. With it set for a Spring 2018 season premiere, the official site has updated two new key visuals that fans will like of Morgana and Anne Tamamaki. Masashi Ishihama will be directing it based on the series composition by Shinichi Inotsume. Tomomi Ishikawa is handling the character designs and A-1 Pictures is producing the animation.
The Japanese cast includes:

- Aoi Yuuki as Futaba Sakura
- Haruka Tomatsu as Haru Okumura
- Mamoru Miyano as Ryuji Sakamoto
- Nana Mizuki as Anne Tamamaki

Property Concept: The story takes place in Tokyo, the city where people’s desires intertwine. As disturbing incidents keep occurring in town, a rumor goes around that a group of people called the “Phantom Thieves of Hearts” has been reforming corrupt adults. One day, when a request letter is delivered to the “Ask the Phantom Thieves Channel,” four high school students and one black cat decide to take action.
