Having enjoyed the original Cloverfield for what it was and then the sudden drop a couple years back with 10 Cloverfield Lane as a creative way to play in that world, the announcement back a the end of 2016 about God Particle had me really interested to see what would be tied in next and how. The film has had a couple of dates so far with February 24th, 2017 and October 27th, 2017 and was then shifted to a February 2nd, 2018 date last year. With that obviously close and nothing having been done yet in terms of marketing, the film has now been given a new and hopeful final date of April 20th, 2018.
The film was directed Julius Onah and written by Oren Uziel and Doug Jung.
The cast includes David Oyelowo, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Ziyi Zhang, Elizabeth Debicki, Daniel Brühl and Chris O’Dowd.
Plot Concept: The story focuses on a group of astronauts aboard an international space station who make a shocking discovery and must fight for their survival.
