New ‘Deadpool’ Sequel Teaser Arrives

2 min read

Things are moving right along with the still untitled Deadpool sequel (which I hope is called Untitled Deadpool Sequel formally as it so first) and now 20th Century Fox has a new promotional video out for it. Set for a June 1st, 2018 release, the teaser hits up the snark and humor well with Deadpool doing a certain painter’s impression with his trademark style in a great way before giving us about fifteen seconds of new footage.

The first film was a shockingly huge hit for the studio when it arrived in February 2016 as it raked in $783 million worldwide and broke some records for an R-Rated film.

Directed by David Leitch, it stars Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Zazie Beetz as Domino, and Josh Brolin as Cable.

Original concept: After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.
