Madman Entertainment is looking for new ways to move the Bleach property to make some money and they’ve got the collection fever running full steam ahead. Under the name of Bleach Shinigami Collection, the Australian distributor has set the sixth collection where it covers the episodes 217 through 267 for a total of 50 episodes. Set for a February 21st, 2018 release, it’s priced at $99.95 AUD and is bilingual in nature with nine discs in the set. Extras include the clean opening and closings, production art galleries, and more as they re-use the discs from the original releases here.

Originally beginning its run in 2004 and finishing in 2012, the series was picked up by Viz Media and released on DVD over the years and is currently getting new Blu-ray releases as well in North America.

The series saw Noriyuki Abe as the overall director with several episode directors and scriptwriters working on it based on the manga by Tite Kubo. It was animated by studio Pierrot.

Plot concept: The fight for Karakura continues as the Soul Society’s group of Soul Reapers fight against Sosuke Aizen’s army of Arrancar, with the former defending Karakura Town, and the latter planning to use Karakura to invade and destroy the Soul Society. With all of the opponents finally assembled on both sides, who will become the victor?
