Genocidal Organ CoverFunimation brought out the Genocidal Organ film with its theatrical release in limited form back on July 12th and 13th. While we now wait for the home video release that’s coming up on November 7th, 2017, we now have the cast revealed for it where Clifford Chapin directed it based on the script by Deborah Crane. The cast includes:

  • Josh Grelle as Clavis
  • Ricco Fajardo as John Paul
  • Jeannie Tirado as Lucie
  • Ian Sinclair as Williams
  • Christopher R. Sabat as Rockwell
  • Clifford Chapin as Alex
  • David Wald as Lucius
  • Joel McDonald as Leland

Shuko Murase was involved in working on the script while redjuice provided the original character designs for it. EGOIST is on board to do the theme song for it. No run time has been revealed for the film yet. The production was taken over by a new studio called Geno Studio.

The cast includes Yūichi Nakamura as Clavis Shepherd, Satoshi Mikami as Williams, Yuuki Kaji as Alex, Kaito Ishikawa as Realand, Akio Ohtsuka as Rockwell, Sanae Kobayashi as Lucia and Takahiro Sakurai as John Paul.

Project Itoh is the pen name of Satoshi Ito, a 34-year-old science fiction novelist in Japan who died in 2009 but had some strong works. Some of his works are being brought to life in anime form with Genocidal Organ, Empire of Corposes and Harmony, all three of which have been released in North America by the book imprint of Viz Media, Haikasoru. Ito wrote for only two years before his death but left behind some fascinating works to be adapted.

Plot Concept: The war on terror exploded, literally, the day Sarajevo was destroyed by a homemade nuclear device. The leading democracies transformed into total surveillance states, and the developing world has drowned under a wave of genocides. The mysterious American John Paul seems to be behind the collapse of the world system, and it’s up to intelligence agent Clavis Shepherd to track John Paul across the wreckage of civilizations, and to find the true heart of darkness—a genocidal organ.
