As we close in on the new Wake Up, Girls! series that was announced as in the works back in December with New Chapter, we’re just waiting for the premiere. The show has a formal October 9th, 2017 premiere scheduled for it in Japan and the folks at Aniplus Asia will be streaming it as well later that night. With that in mind, they’ve brought out their promotional trailer for it that includes English subtitles that makes it a bit more accessible.
In terms of music, three of the characters and their voice actors revealed, which will make up the Run Girls, Run! unit. The group from the show will have the opening theme “7 Senses” and the closing theme song “Shizuku no Kan” when it debuts.

The new project has set Shin Itagaki as the directed based on the work from Green Leaves with character designs by Miyuki Sugawara. Animation studio Millepensee is on board.
Sentai Filmworks released the first TV series and theatrical feature in North America.
Plot Concept: The story is based in the Tohoku area of Japan and revolves around seven new idols as the idol industry enters a recession.
