Tylor Short VisualThe home video release in Japan for the short-form anime series The Irresponsible Galaxy Tylor is being handled by Dream Creation and they’ve set standard plans for it. The twelve episode series, which runs for forty-two minutes total, is set for a November 17th, 2017 debut. It’s getting separate DVD and Blu-ray releases priced at 5,400 yen and 7,344 yen respectively. The releases will come with the clean opening, the non-broadcast version of the first episode, promos, a special, and an audio commentary along with a booklet.

The series was directed by Hiroshi Kimura with Studio Seven handling the animation for it. Natsuki Kita is on board for the character designs.

The Japanese cast includes Hikaru Koide as Ueki Tylor, Kanon Takao as Azarin, Hina Higuchi as Yamamoto (Robo), Takuya Eguchi as Yamamoto (Male), Ayaka Suwa as Dolly, and Emi Nitta as Narrator.

Hikanon will be performing the theme song for it with “Smile♡Invitation.”

Plot Concept: A long time in the future from an already distant future, the United Planets has waned in significance, and the Empire has also collapsed due to internal strife. People all across the universe now lead idyllic, peaceful lives. Banjo is one of them, a boy collecting debris on the outskirts of the planetary walls, when he ends up salvaging a broken-down spaceship and finds a frozen girl inside. He soon finds the hands of evil targeting her, and the entire galaxy being whipped into a furore. And no wonder, because she is Goza the 168th, a girl who holds the key to the entire universe’s fate. Overcoming many twists and turns, the two set out into space in a bid to resurrect the United Planets… but it doesn’t go too well. No need to worry, though. Let’s take this nice and easy. The curtain rises on a highly irresponsible galactic comedy.
