Check Out The Newest ‘Arpeggio of Blue Steel’ Anime Film Trailer in German

Arpeggio Movie German CoverGerman distributor KSM Anime acquired the rights in that region for the Arpeggio of Blue Steel series last year and brought the TV series itself out earlier this year. Now they’re getting ready for the next part of it with the feature film set for separate DVD and Blu-ray editions on October 23rd, 2017. To get fans excited for that they’ve now brought out the first German language trailer for it.

The twelve episode run was previously simulcast by Crunchyroll, which we reviewed here. Seven Seas Entertainment is distributing the manga in North America and Netflix previously acquired the streaming rights to the series in the US and has added the entire run of the first season to their service here. Discotek Media has released the show on home video in North America.

Known as Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio in Japan, the series is based on the manga by Ark Performance, which has eight volumes on hand so far in Japan, the TV series was directed by Seiji Kishi based on scripts by Makoto Uezu.

Plot Concept: In the story, a Fleet of Fog loaded with super weapons suddenly appear all over the world. Without the ability to withstand this fleet, humanity was defeated and could no longer travel the seas. 17 years after the devastating naval war, Chihaya Gunzou and his friends somehow commandeer a Fleet of Fog submarine and rename it I-401. Together with Iona, they take on the Fleet of Fog.
