The latest rankings have come in from Japan with what’s selling on the anime Blu-ray and DVD market and it’s definitely a quiet week. The Blu-ray side gets taken over with the top two spots for the new Biohazard/Resident Evil CG film with the two editions that are out for it. Once past that we get the standalone release of Aria the Avvenire that pulls in some good numbers and then we get just ongoing sales for titles, with Your Name gobbling up three spots and most of what’s here under 1,000 copies. The DVD side pretty much just adds a bit more coin for Your Name as everything there is under 800 with just some incidental sales overall, making for another weak week in the industry.
