The summer 2017 anime series Restaurant to Another World is working through its simuldub run and new episodes continue to roll out weekly from Funimation. The distributor has now dropped a new dub clip for it to give fans a taste of it that may not be subscribing to the service yet, or watching the show, in an attempt to draw you in for more sweet, sweet, anime goodness.
The series has Alexis Tipton serving as the ADR director with scripts by Jamie Marchi. The English language cast includes Christopher R. Sabat as Master, Jill Harris as Aletta, Stephanie Young as Red Queen, Charlie Campbell as Artorius, John Swasey as Tatsugoro, Jeremy Schwartz as Alphonse, Jeremy Inman as Lionel, Tyson Rinehart as Gaganpo, Cris George as Balrog, and Bradley Campbell as Grandpa.
Masato Jinbo is directing the project and handling the series composition. Takao Sano and Keiichi Sano are handling the character designs with Silver Link handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Sumire Uesaka asAretta, Junichi Suwabe asTenshu, Saori Onishi as Kuro and Kiyono Yasuno as Sarah. The supporting cast includes Kiyono Yasuno as Sara, Saori Oonishi as Kuro, Shizuka Itou as Red Queen, Motomu Kiyokawa as Artrius, Houchuu Ootsuka as Tatsugorou, Fumihiko Tachiki as Alphonse and Tomokazu Sugita as Heinrich.
The series is seeing release in print form through Hero Bunko with Katsumi Enami handling the artwork for it.
May’n will perform the opening theme song “One in a Billion” while Kiyono Yasuno will perform the ending theme song.
Plot Concept: The place is at B1 of the building with dog signboard in shopping street near the office street. The cafeteria titled Youshoku no Nekoya has the cat’s illustration on the door. It has been opened for fifty years and satisfied salarymen in the office street. Even though it’s called a cafeteria that provides Western cuisine, it has plenty of menu other than Western cuisine. For people of certain world, it’s a special and “only one” cafeteria. There’s one secret to “Nekoya”.
The cafeteria will be filled with “special guests” every Saturday, which it will be closed for public. When the bell rings, there will be costumers from different places of birth, growth, and race asks for rare, mysterious and delicious dish.
It’s rather a dish that people from office street used to, though. However, for those who come on Saturday = the people from certain world, they are not used to these dishes. “Nekoya”, brings special masterpiece, is being called by people of certain world as this…
“Isekai Shokudou.”
And so the bell rings, too, this week.
