The upcoming fall 2017 anime adaptation of The iDOLM@STER SideM is moving right along and some new details have now surfaced for it. The social media side has now reveled that there will be a prologue episode, titled Episode of Jupiter, that will arrive on September 30th, 2017 as it focuses just on that group. We also now have confirmation that the series will be on Saturday’s this fall at 11:30 pm JST on Tokyo MX and others while also getting streaming through several Japanese services.

The popular franchise has a lot of adaptations out there and this one will be working off of the cellphone game of the same name. Takahiro Harada is directing it with Miyuki Kuroki based on the series composition by Yuniko Ayana and Yukie Sugawara. Yuusuke Tanaka is on board with character designs with it being animated at A-1 Pictures.
The focus for this one is on the male idols as part of 315 Production and that means there will be a lot of voice actors involved.
