‘THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS Theater’ Second Anime Season Premiere Scheduled

Idolmaster Cinderella girls TheaterWe learned last month that after a fun run this past spring, the anime adaptation of the five-panel manga series THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS Theater is getting a second anime season. With the staff and cast returning, the official site has now updated to reveal a new key visual that you can see below of the girls. They also confirmed an October 3rd, 2017 debut at 9:55 pm on Tokyo MX and BS11. Daisuki streamed the series in the spring and it’s uncertain where, or if, it’ll show up as a part of the fall season simulcast side of things.

The series was directed by Puchimas!!: Petit Petit iDOLM@STER director Mankyuu based on the original character designs by Kuma-Jet. Studio Gathering will be producing the animation.

The cast includes Ayaka Ohashi as Uzuki Shimamura, Ayaka Fukuhara as Rin Shibuya, Sayuri Hara as Mio Honda, Ruriko Aoki as Riina Tada, Hiromi Igarashi as Anzu Futaba, Sumire Uesaka as Anastasia and Maaya Uchida as Ranko Kanzaki.

The series will be working off of the manga that’s produced for the mobile game app. It’s been producing work since 2012 and has six volumes on sale so far.
