As part of the 25th-anniversary celebration of Dengeki, a new anime adaptation was revealed last month with the Hakata Pig Bone Ramen novel series. The official site has now updated to reveal that Kenji Yasuda is directing it based on the series composition by Shogo Yasukawa. Hideki Inoue is on board for the character designs and Satelight will be animating it. The first bit of casting was also revealed with:,
- Daisuke Ono as Zenji Bonbo
- Yuki Kaji as Shen Min Ling
- Yuusuke Kobayashi as Saitou
The series comes from writer Chiaki Kisaki with artwork by Hako Ichiiro with seven volumes out as of the end of this month. A manga adaptation kicked off last summer from Kisara Akino with it set to complete with the second volume out last month.
Plot Concept: In a city known as Fukuoka, crime exists in the underworld from a seemingly peaceful surface. In the Hataka ward of the city, there are various individuals with special talent that consists of professional killers, detectives, informants, and professional revenge seekers. Furthermore, according to an urban legend, an individual known as “killer of professional killers” has shown up in the city.
