Fifth ’18if’ Anime Ending Streamed

18ifWith an October 4th, 2017 release ahead of it, the fifth ending song sequence for the 18if anime series has arrived in order to promote the upcoming CD. It’s not exactly a very active ending sequence in terms of animation but with each episode bringing out some great pieces of music this one definitely adds to that growing list.

Crunchyroll is handling the simulcast for it with new episodes set to go live weekly on Friday’s at 10:00am ET for members with it open to viewers in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark. Netherlands..

The project is animated by Gonzo with director Koji Morimoto on board. Morimoto’s credits go back a ways, including work on Magnetic Rose, which for a lot of fans will raise interest. Morimoto is on board as a chief supervisor for the anime. The show is an interesting one as the plan is to work different directors for each episode with Akira Nishimori announced so far. Asuhiro Tomioka is handling the series composition with Tadashi Oppata serving as the character designer for it.

The Japanese cast includes Nobunaga Shimazaki as Haruto Tsukishiro, Takehito Koyasu as Katsumi Kanzaki, and Kaori Nazuka as Lily.

Plot Concept: After going to sleep like normal, Haruto Tsukishiro wakes up to discover something unbelievable—he’s stuck in dream world! Here, witches plague the dreamscape and are more than dreamy figments—they’re the trapped souls of young women who’ve rejected reality and are afflicted by the “Sleeping Beauty Syndrome.” As he searches for a way out, Haruto will face the witches and their terrifying powers.
