We learned recently that the summer 2017 anime series based on the Taiwanese comic Jikan no Shihaisha, aka Chronos Ruler, from Jea Pon, was going to get a dub as part of the SimulDub program. The first episodes is set for an August 2nd, 2017 debut at 7:00pm ET and we now know that Jerry Jewell is the ADR director for it working from the scripts by Samuel Wooley. The main English cast includes:
- Jerry Jewell as Victo
- Chris Wehkamp as Kiri
- Natalie Hoover as Koyuki
- Chris Rager as Horologue
- Mikaela Krantz as Emily
- Shawn Gann as Ralph
- Mark Stoddard as Vice Principal
The series is directed by Masato Matsune based on the series composition by Michiko Yokote with Project No.9 producing the animation.
The Japanese cast includes Kaito Ishikawa as Kiri Victorvich Putin, Kenji Akabane as Blaze, Jun Fukuyama as Victor “Vict” Alexandervich Putin, Rie Kugimiya as Mina Putin, Shizuka Itou as Ice Raider and Tomokazu Sugita as Snake.
Plot Concept: The story centers on “Chronos Rulers,” those who fight the time-eating demons that appear when people wish they could turn back time. The Chronos Rulers fight a time-manipulation battle against these demons.
