dragon-ball-super-episode-68The Toonami side of Cartoon Network is looking at an expansion after a recent contraction as the block will now begin half an hour earlier at 11:00 pm on Saturday nights. That has them bringing the Dragon Ball Super series to the forefront of it to kick things off and then run through a range of action oriented shows until 3:00 am with the schedule as follows:

  • 11:00pm — Dragon Ball Super
  • 11:30pm – Dragon Ball Z Kai
  • 12:00am – JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders
  • 12:30am – Tokyo Ghoul
  • 1:00am – Hunter x Hunter
  • 1:30am – Lupin the 3rd
  • 2:00am – Naruto Shippūden
  • 2:30am – Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
  • 3:00am – Attack on Titan Season 2

The network is still showing Dragon Ball Super at the 8pm slot with two episodes, though the second one for this week at least will be rebroadcast in the 11pm slot. This weekend also sees the start of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders.
