‘Westworld’ Reveals Second Season Trailer

2 min read

WestworldThe first season of Westworld was fairly divisive among a decent segment of viewers but for those that got into it, myself and surprisingly both of my kids included, it was a really great journey with some neat twists and levels of creepiness to it. With the second season set for a presumably early 2018 debut as the show just came out this past October with the first season and has a long production schedule, HBO has now dropped the first trailer and footage from it. And it’s not going to mean much to anyone who hasn’t watched it and to those that have it’s really only going to be a plus in that you see familiar characters moving forward without it really saying a whole lot either. But the excitement is real!

The original feature was released in 1973 based on the story by Michael Crichton, who also directed it, which had as its stars Yul Brynner and James Brolin. With it being a Warner Bros. property at this point after being with MGM originally, that makes it easier for HBO to work with.

First Season Concept: The one-hour drama series WESTWORLD (ten episodes) is a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin. Set at the intersection of the near future and the reimagined past, it explores a world in which every human appetite, no matter how noble or depraved, can be indulged.
