Sansha Sanyo Header 5-28Known as Three Leaves, Three Colors with its localization, Madman Entertainment has acquired the Sansha Sanyou series for release in Australian. Unlike the North American release from Funimation, this one will be a DVD-only release. It’s priced at $49.95 and is scheduled for an October 4th, 2017 debut. The show previously got an English language dub during its simulcast run so the show is all ready to roll in that regard.

Tyler Walker served as the ADR director for it and the English cast includes Alexis Tipton as Yoko Nishikawa, Jeannie Tirado as Futaba Odagiri, Tabitha Ray as Hayama, and Kyle Phillips as Mitsugu Yamaji.

Sansha Sanyo was directed by Yasuhiro Kimura based on the series composition by Hideaki Koyasu and character designs by Jun Yamazaki. It’s being animated by Dogakobo. The Japanese cast includes Mai Kanazawa as Futaba Odagiri, Ayaka Imamura as Teru Hayama, Yū Wakui as Yoko Nishikawa, Machico as Serina Nishiyama, Aina Suzuki as Asako Kondō and Rika Momokawa as Shino Sonobe.

The series is based on the work by creator Cherry Arai, who had some good luck last year in having their series Mikakunin de Shinkoukei receiving an anime adaptation. Sansha Sanyou has been serialized in the magazine since 2003.

Plot Concept: The series focuses on three hilarious characters; Futaba Odagiri is the new transfer student with a super energetic personality; Teru Hayama is the class president with a surprisingly mean personality contrary to her innocent looks; and Youko Nishikawa is from a formerly rich, now extremely poor family who still holds on to her princess attitude. These three unlikely students with clashing personalities become good friends and survive the day-to-day teenage life in a very funny story.
