The latest rankings have come in for what’s lighting up the charts in the manga and light novel world for the week ending June 4th, 2017. This week sees My Hero Academia as the highest ranking new volume at second place with 183,000 units as its anime adaptation rolls on. Black Butler has a solid second week showing where it had a full week to soak up sales to add another 232,000 units. We also get the sixth volume of Orange landing as it adds 143,000 units. Also of interest is seeing how Dragon Ball Super is doing as the third volume hit the 92,000 unit mark in its debut. On the light novel side, Is It Wrong to try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? with its twelfth volume had a good second week showing where it added another 22,000 units. A good chunk of the top ten are new arrivals to the mix with just a few secondary+ week sales in the mix.
