The latest rankings have come in from Japan for what’s selling with the DVD and Blu-ray market this past week ending June 4th, 2017. It’s a decent week as the latest Zaregoto takes the top spot with 10,000 units moved. We’ve got a few months until the next volume comes out due to delays but the series is largely on track at this point with consistent sales. Yuri on Ice!! with its finale added another 8,300 units to its total while the third volume of the fourth season of Tenchi Muyo has landed to solid 6,300 unit sales itself. Coming up weak is the Pop in Q deluxe edition release with 2,700 units moved, which isn’t a good sign for the film doing well across its various formats – especially as the DVD sold just 234 copies. And for those keeping track, the final volumes of Keijo and Flip Flappers both landed with an average of 750 copies each on Blu-ray, continuing their consistently low run.
