The winter 2017 anime series ACCA: 13-ku Kansatsu-ka has its home video release plans being handled by Bandai Visual and they’ve set an accessible plan for it. With the second set coming out in a few weeks, we now have two new promotional spots for it to get fans excited for the middle arc of the season. Bandai is also bringing in two promotional spots for the “piece of mind” event coming up in August ahead of the third and final box set of the series. The twelve episode series is being released as three box sets on DVD and Blu-ray. The DVDs are priced at 11,000 yen each while the Blu-ray’s are at 13,000 yen each and they began on April 21st, 2017.
The sets also list English subtitles with it.
The series was directed by Shingo Natsume based on the series composition by Tomohiro Suzuki. Norifumi Kugai worked on the character designs while Madhouse will produced the animation.
The Japanese cast includes Hiro Shimono as Gene Otus, Kenjirou Tsuda as Nino, Junichi Suwabe asGlossular, Kouji Yusa as Lilium, Tooru Ookawa as Spade, Hikaru Midorikawa as Pastis, Hiroki Yasumoto as Pine, Aoi Yuuki as Lotta, Atsuko Tanaka as Mauve, HirokiGotou as Pochard, Youji Ueda as Owl, Tomoaki Maeno as Knot, Taku Yashiro as Rail, Mamoru Miyano as Schwan,Yuto Uemura as Maggie, Ryuusei Nakao as Falke 2nd, Unshou Ishizuka as Kuvarumu, Aya Suzaki as Eider and Wataru Hatano as Gurus.
ONE III NOTES will be handling the opening theme song “Shadow and Truth” while Aira Yuuki will be performing the ending theme song with “Pale Moon ga Yureteru”.
Plot concept: The kingdom of Dowa, which is subdivided into 13 states, is celebrating its monarch’s 99th birthday. These thirteen states have many agencies that are controlled by the giant organization known as ACCA. Within ACCA, Jean Otis is the second-in-command of the inspection agency. His agency has 10 people placed in each of the 13 states, with a central office in the capital city. They keep track of all the activities of ACCA across the kingdom, and keep data on each state’s ACCA office flowing towards the central office. Jean also often has business trips from the capital to the other districts, to check on the situation and personnel there.
