The struggle to bring out the Hunter x Hunter manga series from creator Yoshihiro Togashi is real as he deals with some very crippling pain and chronic issues that brings his work to a halt. With the book went into hiatus last year for him to deal with things, resulting in the thirty-third compiled volume being put out and coming out domestically as well recently, the series is now ready to come back. The next new chapter is now set for a June 26th, 2017 debut in Japan and the English language edition of Weekly Shonen Jump has confirmed that it will be returning to their pages as well..
Viz Media has been releasing the series in North America and they caught up in the spring of 2017. They’re also in the process of releasing the anime TV series adaptation.
Plot concept: Hunters are a special breed, dedicated to tracking down treasures, magical beasts, and even other men. But such pursuits require a license, and less than one in a hundred thousand can pass the grueling qualification exam. Those who do pass gain access to restricted areas, amazing stores of information, and the right to call themselves Hunters.
