Tubi TV continues to add some interesting titles to their streaming selection and one that definitely caught our eye is the addition of Midori Days. The thirteen episode series aired in the spring 2004 season and was originally licensed and released on home video in North America by Media Blasters, which included an English language dub. Tubi’s streaming of the series is the full run but only its original Japanese language with subtitles edition, which you can see the first episode of below.

Directed by Tsuneo Kobayashi, the series was animated by Studio Pierrot and saw Yuko Kusumot as the character designer for it. It’s based on the manga by Kazurou Inoue and ran for eight volumes between 2002 and 2004 in Weekly Shonen Sunday for 85 chapters.
The Japanese cast includes Kishō Taniyama as Seiji Sawamura, Mai Nakahara as Midori Kasugano, Atsuko Yuya as Rin Sawamura, Hirofumi Nojima as Osamu Miyahara, Makiko Ohmoto as Makie, Reiko Takagi as Takako Ayase, Rie Kugimiya as Kouta Shingyouji, Yūji Ueda as Shuichi Takamizawa and Yukari Tamura as Shiori Tsukishima.
Plot Concept: High school delinquent Seiji Sawamura is desperate to have a girlfriend, especially after being rejected by 20 girls as of late. He’s afraid that he will end his life with his right hand as his only companion. Apparently, that doesn’t change when one day when he wakes up and discovers that his right hand has become a girl named Midori Kasugano, who confesses that she has had a crush on him for the last three years.
