Food and cooking related anime are still coming out fairly regularly and another one was announced back at the end of March with Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san getting an anime adaptation. While we knew that studio Gokumi was going to be producing the animation for it, it’s now been revealed that Kenji Setou will be directing based on the series composition by Tatsuya Takahashi. Takua Tani is on board to handle the character designs.
The work comes from Naru Narumi and runs in the same magazine with five volumes released as of the end of this week. It previously got a live-action TV drama back in 2015 coming after the manga began in the fall of 2013.
Plot concept: It’s a gourmet comedy, which the life revolves around Koizumi-san, who looks like a cool beauty but loves Ramen.
